Golden Girl by Elin Hilderbrand

Author and mother, Vivian, gets killed in a hit and run and goes to the Beyond and is assigned to a person named Martha. Martha grants Vivian one last summer for her to watch what happens on earth. Vivian gets to see her three children as they cope with the death of her, while also watching how her own murder is investigated. Vivian gets three “nudges” where she can change the outcomes on earth. But with everything going on with her children (love, affairs, addiction, lies, etc), she struggles to find the perfect time for the nudges. I liked this book, I was always on my toes as to what would happen- cool ending.
